Dubbo is just 275 metres above the sea level and located at the junction of the Golden Highways, Mitchell and Newell. It is 416 kilometres in the west-north-west of Sydney. It is also well connected by rails and roads to the other parts of New South Wales.

The best thing about Dubbo is its convenient location on the criss-roads of NSW. You can easily drive to Brisbane in the North, Melbourne to the South, Broken Hill and Adelaide to the West and Sydney to the East.
