Getting to Dubbo
It would surprise you that getting to Dubbo is not really hard. There
are air, rail and coach services available daily to and from Dubbo. You

By Air:
Dubbo City Regional Airport is one of the leading airports in the
country. The airport is located five kilometers Northwest of Dubbo. It
is serviced by Regional Express and Qantaslink.

By Road:
From Sydney
You have to travel to Lithgow and from there you either have to drive
north via Mudgee and Gulgong which is 396 kilometers or go west via
Bathurst and Orange which is 408 kilometers.
From Canberra
Travel north through Yass, Cowra, Canowindra and Molong which would be a
403 kilometers drive.
From Melbourne
Travel along the Newell Highway via Shepperton, Narrandera, West Wylong,
and Parkes. The travel from Melbourne takes 854 kilometers to drive.
From Brisbane
You would have to drive along Newell Highway through Goondiwindi, Moree
and Narrabi which is 854 kilometers away.
From Adelaide
Go east on Barrier Highway via Broken Hill, Wilcannia, Cobar and Nyngan.
This drive will take 1271 kilometers.
By Train or Coach:
From Sydney Central, CountryLink has two direct train and coach
services. A direct train operates daily and would take 6 hours and 30
minutes. A second train/ coach service is available going to Lithgow and
the passengers will have to transfer to a coach for the the rest of the
way.
