Dundullimal Homestead

The oldest building in Dubbo that allows you to step back in time. It was built in the 1840's as a head station that is currently open to the public as a museum showcasing the rural life when Dubbo was just starting.

Burrendong Botanic Garden and Arboretum

It houses one of the largest collection of Australian plants in cultivation. It is a 164 hectares of land that is home to more than 2,000 species of plants, overlooking the Burrendong Lake.

Bill O'Shea Studio Gallery

William “Bill” O'Shea is one of Australia's best painters. His collection includes the beautiful landscapes of Australia painted in the traditional way. His works had received recognition and prizes. He is also a recipient of a fellowship by the Australian Institute of History and Arts.

Astro Mini-Golf Plus

A course with 18 holes in a 1500 square meters area, Astro mini-golf is located on the same grounds as the observatory. A fun and educational experience awaits you as you travel through our solar system while you play.

Aladdin's Cave Bottle

Many surprises awaits you inside this cave that is built of approximately 3,000 colorful bottles. Over 1,000 bottles are suspended in a marine rope. Aladdin's treasure chest and Harry Potter's Car is also showcased inside for viewing. Aladdin 's Bottle Cave is only seven minutes away from Dubbo.

It is a state of the art cultural center which house both the city's art gallery and museum. Its collection focuses on “ The Animal in Art” but also has sculptures, book illustration for children. Their exhibition includes permanent and moving collections.

Bell River Estate Winery

Founded by Margherita and Keith Reinhard, the winery started in 1974. The Reinhard family developed the winery and they specialised in fortified wines and red wines.

Lake Burrendong State Park

Located in the foreshores of Lake Burrendong and is one of the great places in Dubbo to spend an afternoon with the family. The park is divided into two sections: Burrendong Park and Mookerawa Park. Both parks are located in the developed bushland of Burrendong.

Dubbo Art and Craft Cottage
